We created this group in order to benefit the AC-Orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania. Michael and Lizz Gallagher visited the orphanage in Tanzania (East Africa) in January 2009, where they met Angela,an orphan herself, the Director of the Orphanage, and ten beautiful orphans. The AC-Orphanage was established in September 2007, by developing relationships with the local government and taking in orphans whose parents had been victims of HIV and TB. Many of these children were days away from not surviving, wandering the streets, homeless and hungry until AC tracked them down and took them in. AC provides safety, food and shelter for these children until they are old enough to enroll in the government school program. AC then uses money from the proceeds of their day care center and your donations to help send them to school. 100% of your donations will go directly to providing food, clean water, clothing and schooling for these children. As we raise money, we will be post any pictures and letters we receive from AC, so you can see how your contributions affect the lives of these children!
We have formed a partnership with Karama Connection, a non-profit 501c3 organization. All of your donations will still be going to the AC Orphanage! They will be handling all fund distribution to AC Orphanage; their expertise will maximize the positive results of your donations!
