50,000 friends and I are going to pitch in $10 and open up an "All-Bacon" restaurant. Join up and be a part of bacon history...
Crowd-funding is a great way to raise capital for a business venture. But, unless you are a celebrity, the business has to involve something amazing that captures the imagination of everyone involved. The idea has to be timeless and actually be able to turn a profit.
Inspired by the recent viral recipe spreading around the Net, I think I've found just the thing... BACON
The idea is to open a bacon themed restaurant. Everything on the menu has bacon. Plain bacon, bacon burgers, chicken carbonara, bacon pot pie, bacon martinis, bacon chip cookies. You name it, it will be there.
This will be one of those places that will be on everybody's "must do" list. It will be over the top and will inevitably be featured on the Food Network and quickly become a hot tourist attraction.
Business plans for restaurants can be done pretty easily, successful management will be hired and all the other details will be put in place before we actually start, but all that is putting the cart before the horse (or pig?) unless we have enough pledged capital to make this dream happen.
So, put your money where your mouth is, and jump into the group with a pledge of $10. Of course, no actual money will change hands until complete contracts are written up and you will have a chance to review them and decide if you still want in. This group is just to show that there is an actual interest.
If you are serious and want to invest more, let me know privately. But, half the fun will be knowing that we built a bacon restaurant "by the people for the people." With as many people as love bacon, and as little commitment needed per person, we should be making progress quickly.
Let the bacon explosion begin!!!
