(LLR vs BBD)
No nightmare at the Fightmare for the London Rockin’ Rollers!
London looked every inch the well oiled machine, able to cope with pretty much everything that Birmingham Blitz Dames threw at them. LRR took lead jammer in the first jam and opened an early lead that BBD could not close, despite several jams with LRR jammers in the Sin Bin.
BBD never gave up however, and broke through the LRR defence several times in the second half, but it was not enough. LRR eventually won by more than 100 points and signalled their intent to the roller derby world.

September 5th- Great Brawls of Fire (LRR vs SVRG)
The bout rightfully lived up to its name, both teams fought hard for the Golden Boot. Stuttgart took the early advantage, and maintained a sizeable lead for most of the game, but London were tenacious and relished the challenge, levelling the game with 10 minutes to go before pulling ahead in the final minutes to snatch a breath-taking victory. Final score: 119 - 105.

London Rockin' Rollers took on the Royal Windsor Rollergirls in RWRGs first bout ever! They fought hard all the way but LRR came out on top 142-57

Thank you to everyone for coming and making our first home bout a raving success. We sold out and had to turn people away! Great halftime performance from Jimmy and the Destroyers, and wicked music from DJ Chris Setzer.
Glasgow played a hard hitting game and the LRR went fighting all the way! Good game from all!
