AND

Birmingham on Monday 30th March. DAN blockades Council offices for three hours and secure a meeting with chief exec. The action was on the national issue of Independent Living, including the right of all disabled people to affordable, accessible housing, the right to Direct Payments and all necessary support to employ Personal Assistants, and the right to choice and control over the assistance that disabled people receive in all aspects of our lives. If DAN's demands are not met, we'll be back.
