If you're a first timer in Chicago, just wait till you get a chance to explore. The Office of Undergraduate Admission sent out nice Welcome packages to incoming students with a nifty Not For Tourists Guide. USE IT! It has valuable information about great hangout spots in the city, as well as some cool places to visit. Don't worry about getting lost, as an IIT student you will receive a UPASS when you arrive which allows you to travel on CTA trains and buses an unlimited amount of time during the semester. Don't know how to get somewhere? Use the website below to find the easiest and fastest way using CTA.
