- FIRST CHALLENGE!!
To participate in the Habitat Blitz Build teams must register by Friday, November 2nd, 2007. Your team leader should email chec@cofc.edu with your team name, an estimated of number of active participants (with the subject line reading “Blitz Build Registration”), and subscribe to the Habitat listserv (HABITAT-HOMECOMING@listserv.cofc.edu).
Start fundraising now!!! In order to make fundraising simple, over the next five weeks we will send you a weekly challenge. Teams can earn participation and fundraising points from now until Dec 12, 2007—we must have the funds in order to build the foundation and purchase building supplies! The team that wins the overall fundraising competition gets a fun perk and will earn 100 points toward the Homecoming Spirit Cup Competition. The fundraising portion is the single largest opportunity to gain points in the competition. Furthermore, priority for Blitz Build shift scheduling will be given based on points.
ONE House ONE Pride
Challenge 1
Make us an attention grabbing You Tube video that shares our story so we can connect with supporters, volunteers, and donors.
Check out the One House One Pride website at http://www.cofc.edu/blitzbuild/ and click on all the links so that you can design a video clip that shares our ONE House ONE Pride story. Be creative and make sure you include all the important information! (Please try to keep the video to 90 seconds)
The winning team will be awarded 15 points and their video will be posted on You Tube. Second place will be awarded 7 points and third place will be awarded 3 points.
Please send digital video clips to chec@cofc.edu with a subject line that reads “One House One Pride You Tube submission”. Feel free to call the CHEC center at 953-5838 if you have specific questions.
