Hosted by the nonprofit Reading Odyssey, the Darwin Facebook project began as a campaign to celebrate Darwin's 200th birthday and the 150th anniversary of the publication of "Origin of Species" - both occurred in 2009.
Now this group is focused on ongoing public education in evolutionary biology and is part of the Reading Odyssey's mission to help more adults engage their intellectual curiosity and reignite lifelong learning.
