Yet another new course (two at once - watch out!)

I invite you to join the Facebook group for my new Stanford course, Peace Innovation.

Students will work in small teams to run peace innovation trials with Web 2.0 technology. Our goal is to learn how to invent peace, and then to create resources for others to do the same (e.g., curriculum materials).

We'll work with people outside the Stanford class. So join us if you're interested.

You'll find the group here: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=25747795577

Note from BJ Fogg:

I'm looking forward to teaching a new course early April: The Psychology of Facebook. The goal is to make students experts on this topic, especially as it relates to persuasion in social networks.

I've created a new group for the class: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=22841903424

You can join this new group to stay connected to what we're doing at Stanford. We'll very likely involve people outside the class.

Students need to join the new FB group and register on Axess. Below is the basic class info.

One of the co-teachers of our Persuasive Apps course, Yee Lee, posted a summary of viral engineering metrics and techniques gleaned from the class:

We'd love to engage you in a discussion about virality, so please feel free to comment on the blog post -- especially if you have follow-on
questions or disagree with any of the points mentioned in the post!
