Why are we paying the price for the economic crisis?

Across the country working people are losing their jobs and their homes. Meanwhile the bankers who plunged us into this crisis have been bailed out with billions of pounds of our money.

It's time to fight back. Their Crisis Not Ours! will bring together workers, pensioners, the unemployed, students, those facing repossession and all those suffering because of an economic crisis that has been imposed on us.

Over the coming months, we will be planning protests, public meetings and other events to make sure the voice of the people is heard.

Our first major event will be a Day of Action on Budget Day when we will demand: 'Where is our bailout?' We'll be announcing details shortly.

Their Crisis Not Ours! has been set up by the Labour Representation Committee, which brings together socialists and trade unionists both inside and outside the Labour Party and has the support of six national unions and dozens of organisations across the country.
