What is “YouFlow”?
There are two ways to capture the YouFlow concept, so far. YouFlow, in its most basic level, of course, is a conceptual fusion of two separate concepts: You and Flow.
In this ‘conceptual branding play’, there are two alternative ’stories’, or ‘copy-writings’ for the Open Source Brand of YouFlow. One is the Abstract Idea capturing, the other is the Concrete Applied story. They come from two points of departure, and meet in a merged field in the middle.
Together they make a combo of descriptions attempting to capture enough of the suggested concept to act upon to bring value for you and (your) universe, and in the future, above and beyond - to collaboratively find deeper meaning of the one already found.

.: I. YOUFLOW STORY - THE ABSTRACT IDEA
YOU - that is your identity.
In the fluid times of the cybervillage, you can extend the traces of you and your identity to every spot where you can login to the collective consciousness that gets traced every day by Google - the Internet. The same engine that breaks down boundaries and collapses distance, speeds up the dynamics of change, and makes whole organizational structures obsolete - sometimes overnight. An example in itself is the mentioned Google - an identity now commonplace as a verb in itself - “googling”. In fact, it is the thirteenth big search engine!

Since it is about you, me - and us - in this new environment, the term “social media” has been set, where the power is at your hand to shape your content, your context, your connections - in short, your world. In this environment, and with this power, it is more important than ever to be aware and secure of what you are and what you do - and mainly your identity is expressed in two dimensions, your “self-identity” and your “social identity”. To live in harmony with you and your surroundings, you need to be aware of both - and then develop an identity reflected in both dimensions, inward as well as outward, that harmonizes with your higher self and your potential:
- What do you stand for?
- What do you love to do and what is your passion?
- What do you want to create and what legacy do you want to leave behind you?
- What’s your dream?
FLOW - a concept with many meanings.
Panta Rei - you cannot step into the same river twice, as coined by Herakleitos. RSS feeds flows. When in creative mode it can be described as a state of “flow”. Your creation taken into action leads to a flow of events, eventually time stamped in a general lifestream traceable on the net. And, at the end of the day, you need to have one thing as a result of the created upgrading of your flow - from individual flow moving into social interaction, to meet the next challenge and realize your next idea - and that is cash flow.
As concluded, everything flows.

.: II. YOUFLOW - THE CONCRETE APPLIED
CREATE YOUR YOUFLOW!
- Develop and clarify your identity, for the benefit of both you and your company - online as well as offline!
Blogging, wiki, RSS, social networks and communities. The contemporary tools to leverage the realization of ideas and business projects are many, in what usually is summarized ‘the second generation web’, where ’social media’ is a key concept. At the same time, there is a bias towards focusing the technology as the key enabler of the new possibilities. More than ever we need to remind ourselves that in the center is not technology. In center is - you.
With the purpose to capture this the greatest of opportunities - to create leverage for the intentions of you and your company - the concept ‘YouFlow’ have been introduced.
In short, ‘YouFlow’ means that two concepts have merged into one. ‘You’ - that is both your self-identity and your social identity. ‘Flow’ can appear in many contexts and forms. Creative - when you’re ‘in the flow’. A flow of events that gets released when ideas turns into action. RSS-feeds flows - to subscribe to information on your conditions. And at the end of the day - Cash Flow?
With the key concept of YouFlow, an event series now gets introduced. The purpose is to answer ‘how’ with applied, practical, change-oriented workshops and seminars, from the premier speakers within their respective areas. These areas connect in one way or another to parts of the whole, and are complimentary in a dynamic and interactive dialogue during these events and meet-ups, ‘offline’. The purpose is to support your own ‘YouFlow’ direction. What’s Your Dream?
At the same time, there is a strong ‘online’ activity to sharpen the conversation around ‘YouFlow’. A Blog is already open for comments at http://www.youflow.info. A community for the conversation is launched when the first event is introduced. A wiki for the collaborative knoweldge built up by the community gets filled over time.
The event series is introduced with a big two-day event May 26-27, and continues with focused and topical breakfast seminars for the most initiated. The first event flow is in Swedish, and takes place in the “Manchester of Sweden”, Norrköping, in transformation towards the post-industrial era, in the old factory facilities, now renamed ProNova Science Park.
The Event series is named “Empower Your YouFlow - Upgrade Your Flow, Upload Your Identity”.
