Recent articles from the Quinnipiac student-run newspaper the Chronicle have been strongly opposed by the higher-ups here at school. President Lahey has shown a strong amount of animosity toward the student media because of their continued success in reporting the issues that plague this school, particularly diversity.
Within the past few weeks, the Chronicle has been prohibited from reporting at SGA meetings where the president is present. And as recently as the last few days, the president has been meeting with school officials to get Jay Braff removed as the Editor-in-Chief of the Chronicle.
