Rahela was a 19 year old garments worker who lived in savar. On Aug22 2004, she was mugged and raped by some of her colleagues. After gang rapping, they struck her neck with a chopper. They thought she had died and left her body in a corner of Jahangir Nagar University. They again came back on Aug 24, 2004 and found her live. When she asked for water, they poured acid on her to confirm her death. But she survived and then died after one month sufferings.
A hearing is going on. But the main culprit is still in the outside and other criminals got bails from the court.
The above incident is not only an example of murder, its brutality; no word is enough for it. The Blogger community has come forward on this matter.
It’s the time to protest. Our intention is to raise a strong public opinion so that justice can be ensured. So please raise your voice and contribute to this campaign. We will challenge it and bring the justice.

Court already gave their verdict. Main Criminal Liton sentenced to Death. But other three criminal freed due to insufficient evidence. No one knows where Lition hiding himself. Moreover, If the family of Liton go to high/supreme court, this verdict may change. That's really frustrating.
