Announcing....
The Telecasters Alumni Group OFFICIAL Website http://telecasters.msu.edu/alumni
Inside you'll find photos, a video from the reunion, information about our logo contest, a list of members & plans for upcoming events (Tigers Baseball, Homecoming tailgate, Student/Alumni Career seminar) & much more.
A huge thank you to Rich Perry for guiding the design of the website and Michael Jordan (MJ) who executed the plan. It looks sensational and accomplishes everything we had set in our goals.. plus more!
Truth is.. The website is useless.. unless our members take advantage of it. So, take a minute to register, update your profile and email addy and leave a message on the community wall. We welcome your feedback and input as we move forward.
This official website will be our primary website. However; Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter will serve as important secondary social networking tools.

WE'RE OFFICIAL!
On May 9, the MSUAA recognized MSU Telecasters as an Alumni Interest Group. This means the University understands that our group has a legacy... that Telecasters alumni have the ability to provide meaningful resources to advance the progress of students and graduates. To that end, the University's Alumni Association will support us through finances and publications.
I encourage you to become an active member of our group. It is our hope to hold a couple of fun events each year to network with each other and provide career guidance to current Telecasters students. If you have an interest in helping to plan a regional event, I encourage you to contact anyone on the Board of Directors or a regional co-director.

MSUAA has accepted MSU Telecasters as an Alumni Interest Group. We will be presented an official MSUAA Charter at the CAS Alumni Dinner on May 9! Come if you can.. We hope to have an informal celebration later in the year.
We are working to develop an interactive website where you can register to become an official member of this alumni group. The site will be linked through/hosted by the student Telecasters website. It will NOT make this FB group obsolete, rather secondary. You should join both! Our target for the new, improved website is early summer.

MSU Telecasters Alumni!
Thanks to everyone who attended the Big Bash to celebrate 20 Years of The ShoW!. By all accounts, it was a great time. We had more than 50 alumni from all across the country come back to East Lansing for the marathon reunion. You can check out pictures on the alumni Facebook page…. or on the official MSU Telecasters website.
The College of Communication Arts and Sciences and the MSUAA were so impressed with the event and its turnout that they would like us to form an official Telecasters Alumni Association. This is fantastic news… as it would soon funnel university alumni dollars to the MSU Telecasters group to support future events. It would also more prominently showcase MSU Telecasters activities in MSU publications.
In the future, we see many more events including; a presence at a homecoming tailgate, workshops for students, perhaps a basketball game, potential fundraisers, an endowment fund, an annual regional “conference” and -of course- in a few years- another Big Bash!
Go State!
