State University Theatre is based in Brookings, South Dakota on the SDSU Campus. This student and faculty led theatre program puts on four shows each season. Students in all majors, from Nursing to Engineering, participate in the Mainstage productions. Students are often involved in areas including set and costume production, lighting, sound, and painting. Students also frequently design the lighting, sound and sets for SUT.
