For years, our nation has turned a blind eye to the plight of numerous children from across the nation. We have allowed child abuse and child sexual abuse to plague our society. Silently it is eating away at our nation's soul leaving its victims forever scared.

The time has come for us to stand up against this tide of injustice. To lobby for our rights and the rights of our children. The right to live a life free of fear, humiliation, and degradation. No one, no man, woman, or child deserves to be abused. And if we don't protect children, if we don't protect the helpless, then who will.

We need to create awareness and lobby for action to protect our youth, and protect our future.

CAWM is solely dedicated to creating awareness and lobbying for the prevention of child abuse. We are going through a period of transition. We are seeing the beginning of a religiously and culturally diverse society.

Amidst all this, we are ALL concerned about the state of children in our midst, irrespective of our political, religious or social standing or values or philosophies. We urge that there is a continued effort to keep everyone mindful of those who are most vulnerable in our society.
