Feminism NOW Guidelines for submitting:
• Please include your name and year with all submissions. You may request anonymity if you do not wish for your name to appear in print.
• Due to limited space:
o Keep the word count between: 250-400 words.
o Artwork may be reduced from original size.
• Feminism NOW only accepts ORIGINAL work.
Do not plagiarize.
o If you chose to include a quotation, use a credible source and please use proper citation.
o If you would like to include websites for more information or to take political action- feel free!
• Prior to submission, make sure to edit your work. Be concise and informative about your topic. Use spelling and grammar check, read your work aloud and allow others to read it. Explain unfamiliar terms, and all bills, court cases, etc.
• Once submitted, Feminism NOW reserves the right to edit your work without altering your central message.
• Any work you submit may appear in an upcoming issue or on the NOW-CAN website. We will inform you on when and where your work will be present.
• Finally, thank you for all submissions! Feminism NOW appreciates your creative efforts and your interest in making a difference.
