Gardenburger, makers of the original "veggie burger," are teaming up with artist Fritz Haeg to help the Hudson Guild! Together, they will transform an unused triangle of land in Chelsea, NY into an edible garden. This garden will feature natural vegetation that would have been found on the island of Manhattan 400 years ago, when the native Manhattan Lenape lived off the land – vegetation that will now benefit the Hudson Guild in its efforts to educate and provide for children in the community.
Ovation TV will chronicle the various stages of the garden, from planting to harvest. Check back often to see the project unfold.
