WHY SHOULD WE PAY FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT WHEN WE ARE MAKING EVERYONE A FAVOUR WHEN WE USE IT?

We would like to show North America that we in Montreal are at the forefront of environment protection in a proactive and innovative way.

Public transport prices are outrageous! If we want to convince more people to change their habits and use the bus and metro, things need to change.

How are we going to finance this?
There are numbers of ways of doing it that won't really affect your bottom line. From making oil companies pay a special tax to having car owners living on the central covered areas pay a monthly fee to use their car. If they don't want to pay they have the option of taking the public transport...for free!!! Hybrid and low consumption vehicles could be excluded from these fees.
