Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services, Inc. is a collaboration of people of faith and people of conscience who have joined together to shelter and serve individuals and families with children who are experiencing homelessness in Boise, Idaho. Sanctuary was founded on the values of compassion, respect, and dignity for all people and since 2005, has served over 1,600 men, women and children.

Beginning in November 2007, Interfaith Sanctuary opened a year-round facility to provide overnight shelter and supportive services for men, women, and families with children. Each night we shelter between 130 - 155 members of our community who have found themselves in need of support.

Our partners include El-Ada Community Action Partnership, The Interfaith Alliance of Idaho and the Interfaith Religious Leaders Network, Catholic Charities of Idaho, Boise City/Ada County Housing Authority, and Corpus Christi House. Interfaith Sanctuary serves men, women, couples, and families. We address chronic homelessness by providing shelter for all persons who are in need of such service, including those who are struggling with addictions or mental health issues. Targeted case management is provided in conjunction with our community partners to assist guests of the shelter in addressing barriers to housing.
