CAR is a resource and opportunity website created by practicing artists to support artists (visual, music, dance, theater) with all aspects of their creative practice. CAR includes 100s of community posts for jobs, audition notices, grant deadlines, exhibition opportunities, rehearsal/performance/studio space, articles by Chicago artists and arts professionals, and 7000+ links to a wide range of online resources for information on everything from artists teaching curricula to artists’ taxes to gallery and manager contracts. CAR is a project of the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
