I am disappointed by RTÉ's decision to broadcast an apology for reporting on the hanging of satirical portraits of Brian Cowen in the National Gallery. I think this represents a lack of impartiality on behalf of RTÉ. It is shocking to see a broadcaster bow to political pressure like this.
Then email the form to complaints@bcc.ie
Simple as that!
The aim is to encourage the BCC to rule that RTÉ were wrong to issue their apology, thus taking a step towards safegaurding freedom of expression in Ireland.
