So, I'm riding along yesterday in some of the strongest headwinds I can recall, working harder than I had anticipated, when I realize something interesting: This route is much hillier than I remember it! As I struggle to maintain 20 km/h average into the wind, I have plenty of time to think about the B.iCycle app I h...ave running on my iPhone... and how it calculates elevation gained... If an app can calculate elevation gain (and hence, presumably elevation loss), shouldn't it be able to produce a ride profile at the conlcusion of a ride in addition to the rest of the stats? Thomas Moreau Yes indeed, suffering some Giro withdrawal. But there's always the podcast. I must say this about our favorite host. Nobody, I mean NOBODY says "Diquigiovanni!" with the zeal and enthusiasm of David.

Richard Dort Darryl. this is a late reply, but AToC is on cycling.tv for free. Just don't freak like I did on stages 7 and 8. They tagged their "innertube" show onto the beginning. It's a good show, but you can skip ahead. I think it was about 40 minutes long.
Darryl In Canada, with basic cable, I don't get Versus or any other TV coverage of cycling (except the Tour). I'm wondering if any of my US brothers or sisters who are recording the AToC TV coverage would be willing to send me DVDs after the event ends? I'd be happy to pay expenses. Just a thought. Let me know... Cheers.
Nick Venuto So excited for the Tour of California start. I was thrilled to see the lead article in the San Diego Tribune was about Floyd Landis. Not often cycling even gets a small mention. Should be a very exciting race.
