The Tongue brings art forms together to form an evening of creative expression and enjoyment of performance, poetry, music, visual art and dance.

tongue relies on collaboration, sharing, audience participation, and all that stuff which make open mic's good including laughing and drinking, talking, etc.

we welcome all forms of poetry and music, encourage performance, and we are advocates of the formation of a community of artists who are working together to celebrate art outside of conspicuous locations.

we sign off each event with an open jam and dancing.
