Every week the Stanford Storytelling Project brings you an hour of stories on a single theme, all written or produced by members of the Stanford community. Episodes can be heard Thursdays at 6pm in the San Francisco Bay Area on KZSU or downloaded as podcasts for free anytime from iTunes. The project also hosts events, contests, and workshops on campus and regularly features interviews with authors and artists about the craft of storytelling. See the website for details.
Founded in 2007, the Storytelling Project's goal is to promote the craft of storytelling at Stanford, especially storytelling in non-print media. The project brings together various forms of storytelling from across campus—fiction, documentaries, academic inquiry, essays, oral histories, ballads, profiles, spoken-word art—and share them with both the Stanford community and the world through radio and the internet.
