Ticketing Notice for Neil Gaiman event on 1 Nov:

To all supporters and fans,

In today’s cover story for ST Life (”Writers on the Edge”, 15 Oct), the article stated that the free tickets for Neil Gaiman’s talk could be obtained through email or phone.

Please note that tickets will only be available for collection on Saturday 17 October from 3pm onwards, at The Arts House box office. We regret to say that we will not take reservations over the phone, email, or by any other means.

Thank you for your understanding.

NEW VENUE FOR NEIL GAIMAN TALK ON 1 NOV | ADDITIONAL TICKETS AVAILABLE!

Hello all!

Due to the overwhelming response for Neil Gaiman tickets, we have now moved his talk “Neil Gaiman on Graphic Novels and Fantasy” from Chamber, The Arts House to VICTORIA THEATRE.

The date and time of the event are the same – Sunday 1 November, 2pm. Victoria Theatre is located next to Victoria Concert Hall, just across the road from The Arts House.

The festival will still honour tickets that were previously given out for the event.

Additional tickets for this event will be available for collection from The Arts House on Saturday, 17th October from 3pm onwards. Tickets will be limited to ONE pair per person, and RESERVATIONS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED by phone, email, or any other means.

To all supporters and fans, thank you for your kind understanding and we look forward to meeting you at all our events!

*Kindly note that Neil Gaiman’s events on Saturday 31 October will remain in The Arts House.*

UPDATE:

The Singapore Writers Festival is strictly NON-PROFIT and has always tried to keep its events free for the public. In the case of the Neil Gaiman events, free tickets were given out.

It has come to our attention that several individuals are offering to buy or sell these tickets. Any monetary transaction of this sort is not permitted by the Festival, as it goes against one of our basic aims of providing exposure to literature for all.

Any more posts of this sort will be removed immediately.
