World renowned guitarist, Jerry Donahue from LA is our guest this November. Jerry has played session for so many top bands and players from Jeff Beck to Joan Armatrading, Gerry Rafferty, Robert Plant, Elton John, The Proclaimers, Johnny Hallyday, George Harrison, Cliff Richard, Chris Rea, Warren Zevon, Bonnie Raitt, Hank Marvin, Roy Orbison, Nanci Griffith and The Yardbirds. In 1990 he founded the guitar trio The Hellecasters with Will Ray and John Jorgenson. Jimmy Moon, one of Britain's top Luthiers will be there with his band " The Moonshiners" to play with JD and some of the Voodoo Jam regulars will have a chance to step up on stage to trade licks with Jerry. This is one night no muso should miss! There will be acharge of £5 for this event.

For 2010 we move on up to the BigHall@Voodoo and there will have a more structured event with a £5 entry charge. Here's where top musos hang out, mix up and mash up, explore new sounds. Soul, Blues, Funk & Rock mix it with Jazz, Country, the Reggae, and of course Ska. If you do not play but dig live sounds this is the venue for you.

Guys, to catch the spirit of what rocks chez Voodoo at our jam, just go here and feast......
