On January 13, 2008, I will be running the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 Marathon as a part of the "Miracles in Motion" Training Team.

"Miracles in Motion" exists as a way to raise money for Phoenix Children's Hospital, Arizona's only comprehensive children's hospital.

Each team member has been asked to raise $1500 to help bring care to Arizona's most ill and injured children.

As a patient of Phoenix Children's Hospital myself, I can vouch for it's wonderful care and environment. It is a cause that is near and dear to my heart.

I will be running on behalf of Sydney, a sixteen-year-old who currently faces cardiac difficulties similar to the ones I face.

I know a lot of you are poor college students like me, so giving money away is kind of a big deal. Here's an idea: if you have nice unwanted items that could fetch some money, sell them! Or, donate them to me and I'll sell them with all procedes going to the charity.
