Dear friend,

After the success of the first competition on last 22 – 25 June 2009, I am pleased to invite you to participate (again) in the 2nd Tomohon International Choir Competition (2nd TICC) to take place on 18 - 21 August 2010. Tomohon is a unique location for choral and vocal music and is therefore the natural location for a competition of international significance. Holding a competition here shows that we have not only the musical culture to support it, but also the administrative and political infrastructure to make the dream a reality. This competition is only possible with the support of the mayor and the leadership of Tommyanto Kandisaputra, the brilliant conductor of the Studio Cantorum and his dedicated team of staff and volunteers. As part of the Tomohon Flower Festival, TICC will be integral to building international friendships and cultural exchanges.

2nd TICC invites outstanding choirs from various parts of Indonesia and international choirs elsewhere to participate and to be adjudicated by an international jury. I know that you will have an uplifting and memorable experience, and on behalf of 2nd TICC and the international choral community, I hope to welcome you to beautiful Tomohon.
