Today's Roll Call (http://rollcall.com/issues/53_77/news/21547-1.html) has an article saying that an executive order is increasingly likely! We could win! The article quotes Sen. Jim DeMint as saying the White House is strongly considering an executive order, which is supported within the administration by budget director Jim Nussle and VP Dick Cheney. Also says Bush may ask Congress to redirect the money saved by the executive order to a high priority like children's health care or bridge repair, or to fund tax rebate checks. Stay tuned.
