ABOUT THE BOISI CENTER: The Boisi Center seeks to foster thoughtful, civil and rigorous discussion of issues at the intersection of religion and American public life, broadly understood. We bring scholars, policy makers, journalists and religious leaders to campus for 20-25 events each year; we host visiting scholars from universities around the world; we publish scholarly and popular books and articles; and we teach seminars for BC students and outside scholars about a wide range of topics. Our hope is that such conversations can help to clarify the moral and normative consequences of public policies in ways that can help us to maintain the common good while respecting our growing religious diversity.
