Amazon.com recently announced it would remove 'adult material' from its main search. In doing this, it proceeded to remove the sales rank from non sexual gay and lesbian books, books on advice for suicidal people, feminist literature, help books for rape victims, books on sexuality and disability, and children's books about gay parents.
This decision has recently been cited as an error, made by an employee. Some of the books have been reranked, others haven't. This group will stay up as an information bank and discussion group.
