Whipup.net reports that dutch company Oilily is selling dolls very similar to those made by Portuguese designer Rosar Pomar.
Rosa has been making and selling her gorgeous handmade soft fabric dolls online for more than five years.
Oililiy's dolls - Oilily Newborn Girls pluche speelgoed - are mass-produced in China and they are currently available from shops all around the world. Here's a photo taken in Dusseldorf (Germany):

Rosa’s dolls are widely known and have been widely featured both online and through magazines. She has put a lot of effort into her handmade at home business and seeing a big company seemingly copying them like this without regard is terrible.
The similarity in the face of the Oilily doll compared to Rosa's is unmistakable, however the quality appears to be infinitely inferior.
Oilily is also using the dolls design on the doll's tag and label, and on most of the baby girl clothes in the current collection.
DaddyTypes reports that other designers have already complained about being ripped-off by Oilily:

What can we do? Spreading the word about this facebook group, and emailing Oilily at info@oilily.nl might be actions for people to take - to let them know that it's not ok to rip off indie - or any - designers' work.
If you have any info you can write directly to Rosa to offer your support rosapomar[at]mac.com.
