Palm Coast is located in Flagler County, one of the fastest growing micro-ecomomic-areas in the entire United States between 2004 and 2007. In 2009 Flagler County broke another record, but this time the news was sad: one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation.
As of March 2009, there are about 2,500 businesses operating in Flagler County. Palm Coast and Flagler is full of opportunities for entrepreneurs.
