The Superman-Tim Club dates back to the mid-1980s, when a button was discovered in a Clovis, CA thrift shop.

On this button was a mid-20th century cartoon representation of Superman standing with a boy -- presumably named Tim.

Well, we had a friend named Tim, and thus began the modern origins of the Superman-Tim Club. Over the years, it has also been a mailing list, and then a Website.

Now, it has joined the 21st Century and become a Group on a Social Network. As Superman himself might say: "Great Scott!!!"

Say, that reminds me: we should invite Scott.
