PivotTechno isn't so much of a "what" as it is a "how". We're dedicated to straying from the path of formulaic nightlife, by making our home in underused venues, playing music that others refuse to touch (or have fallen out of touch with), and focusing on what we believe to be the best local underground talent the city has to offer. We like quality soundsystems, trippy lighting, and DJs who really know how to WORK the decks and the crowd - slick live PAs are cool, too. We love oldschool Acid House, Ghetto House, Detroit Techno, Electro, Italo and Miami Freestyle, as well as 80s New Wave, Industrial and New Beat. If you want to find out anything else about us, you'll just have to come to one of our events...

Event notifications are sent out by word of mouth, via our mail list and through Facebook events. If you really dig what we do, it's a good idea to get on the email list, as through it, we send out invites to parties that we *don't* list in our Facebook events. (read less)
