ATTENTION LOCAL BANDS!
If you're "metal" (or heavy enough for the night, at least) and want to have your stuff heard, drop a CD into Fibbers and we'll see what we can do.

Guidelines:
- CD must be of club quality. The tracks need to be studio mixed, produced and mastered to sit with 'professional' releases.
Hint: if you play one of the tracks in between a couple of your favourite bands and there's a noticeable drop in either quality or volume, it's probably not going to get played.

- If you're bringing mp3s, we need a minimum bitrate of 256 kbps. Ideally 320 or above.

- If you bring it down on the night, unless we already know the band's music, it's unlikely to be played until we've had chance to check it out.
You can drop it into Fibbers any time before the day of the club and we'll check it out for the next night.

- If you have a particular song you're promoting (eg on Myspace / releasing as a single / putting onto a magazine cover) and you want us to play that one, leave a note with the CD - we all have awful memories and will forget conversations!

We will do our best to play anything which is appropriate and good enough quality, although it is likely to be early in the night while we introduce new material so come down early if you want to hear yourselves =o)

OK, so we know we’re launching this when a few of you will be heading down to Download, but we’re going for it anyway and will be having with or without you! The Carnage after this will be on Thursday 11th July.
