- We're ready for our fellowship with God to be with words that are at least as timely as our words are for anyone else living!
Most important is for Jesus to be personal for our friends and enemies that are living today before yesterday's dead. ("In the eyes of many, religion has lost its relevance and is little more than a quaint relic from another time." Billy Graham, Christianity Today, pp. 27-28, December 8, 1997.)
FOREVER HOLY
Holy, holy, holy! Lord Always Timely!
Morning, noon, throughout the week, and all eternity.
Holy, holy, holy, wise and so forgiving.
Humble, a lamb, what a gift I sing!
Holy, holy, holy! Countless stars, Your glory.
Angels watch the plan unfold in endless victory!
Doing wrong, I'm filthy. Christ in me is holy.
What then should I do? Christ must live in me.
Holy, holy, holy! Our team, it must be.
We will shine when You are seen, all praise is Yours indeed!
Yes, we all are chosen. None there is too weak.
Come, will you join us? Others we do seek.
The living Word, Jesus, is forever timely, MVO, Modern Version Only. Good stewards give God the respect of timeliness, and enjoy playing Shakespeare with God as much as we do with the world. Untimely words, KJO or KJL, King James Only or King James Lukewarm, shalt be foolish/silly to be known by. Jesus lives for you!
2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT: This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
1 Corinthians 15:14, NLT: And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless.
It's useless to be poor stewards of the Lord God's good news when we know better.
1) If you were a secretary for your boss, would he/she want you to send out his/her memos with 18th century words? What if that boss is God?
2) If you were a salesperson, would you represent your products to your clients with 18th century words? What if your product is God's good news?
3) Are you known to God and your other friends with words of today or KJVese (18th century words)
