Hello everyone, if I may stop the funk for a moment or two. We would like to formally announce that Leigh Greaney has been accepted into our long vacant position of Chief Director of Gimp Studies. You can imagine how insufferable it has been while this position has been empty and we are glad to have her filling this gap. This is proof that listening and fanship have their rewards. For everyone else there is hope of one day rising to meet these standards.

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, atheists and Funk Soul Gospel believers alike, we bring news of the coming war. What war, you ask? The War that Sweet Baby Lou has formally declared upon Conan O'Brien and the rest of his gang at NBC studios and Broadway Video. Technically, they did not incite our wrath. That honor would go to "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" associate producer Jordan Schlansky, who brought word of lawsuits to be lodged against we, your faithful funky FM disc jockeys. This agression will not stand, man. Stand firm with us this week as we bring you all songs about war. For the dye is cast. If Schlansky and his goons at NBC think they can get away with this, they can go funk themselves.

Head's up, everyone. Sweet Baby Lou has seen his stock rise at the radio station recently, and was recently rewarded with a promotion. We will now be occupying the 5:30 to 8 PM slot on Tuesday evenings here at WMUA during the winter schedule. So if you're hanging around after dinner and need some funky entertainment, tune in and funk out with the Reverends. It'll be a wacky time.

This thursday we're "Rocking Your Body" literally. All the songs you can think of about heads, feet, arms you name it. As for our special guests there are more to come, and we'd also like to report we're cooking up a suprise for our last show of epic proportions.

The leaves are turning orange, but Sweet Baby Lou is going green. Tune in for an especially environmentally conscious show this week, with all songs green, as well as the heralded return of local artist Eric Greene, who will coincidentally attempt to showcase and spotlight next week's energy fair between his songs.
