In a moment of madness we (Diana, Andy, Steve and Robyn) decided to take part in Trailwalker 2008.
What Is It?
It basically involves walking 100km in under 30 hours, along the South Downs Way from Petersfield to Brighton.
Why Do It?
Trailwalker is organised by Oxfam and the Queen's Gurkha Signals Regiment in order to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust - both great causes.
How You Can Help
1. Join This Group! It helps knowing we have lots of support!
2. Sponsor us! We need to raise £1,500 and need all the help we can get! The easiest way is to go to our fundraising page at:
http://www.justgiving.com/teamaching
3. Follow our training and fundraising progress by reading our blog at:
http://www.team-aching-news.blogspot.com
It will be updated complete with photos(!) during training and will probably contain a few posts where we rant, moan and generally wonder why we ever thought this was a good idea in the first place!!!
