At first it was just a rumour, a possibility.

Now, there's rumblings that it may actually be going ahead - a US remake of the classic Brit comedy series Spaced (to be helmed by the one and only McG).

In the past, Fox has listened to fans - getting Family Guy back on the air, etc. In the case of Spaced, we can campaign for the opposite, and save them a hunk of money.

So before they sink cash into this terrible idea, we - the many fans of this tremendous show - would like to register our extreme displeasure at these plans for a such a potentially disastrous copycat series.

We really love Spaced - a show by geeks for geeks. We think it's fine the way it is, and we don't want it sullied by an inferior remake.

Please join this group as a way of communicating your anger, and your plans to boycott the show should it ever be aired.
