- The Bookham Vision team is a voluntary group, seeking the views of Bookham's resident and working population of ALL ages on what Bookham wants rather than just focusing on what we don't want. We will then produce a plan which will be presented to the relevant bodies for action or funding. The main catalyst for its foundation was the reaction to the proposal for a supermarket development at Lower Shott. That issue hasn't gone away, and other new issues have surfaced (new housing proposals, for example), but it's all gone quiet out there ... too quiet
