The Arab Students Association (ASA) is a newly-established group on the campus of the University of Iowa, founded in the Fall 2007 semester by Arab and Arab-American students that aim to:
• Increase awareness of Arab culture, history, traditions, and political issues.
• To expose the University of Iowa community to events and activities that would promote diversity and cultural exchange.
• Through a series of cultural and political, the group will work on strengthening the bonds between the members of the University of Iowa Arab community.
• The group will promote exchange of cultural ideas, collaboration and political dialogue with other student organizations on campus.
