Write to your ISP now and preempt the legislation requesting that they:

1. Protest the proposal;
2. Never implement any filtering on your account.

This response from the Western Australian Internet Association president.

"Thanks for your email. WAIA is waiting to see the detail on this proposed legislation, however in broad terms we are against mandatory filtering at ISP level, and in favour of client/user side filtering."
