10km. Regent's Park. Saturday June 6th 2009
The third annual UCL FoMSF Fun Run saw 51 UCL FoMSF runners in this June's officially organised 10km Regent's Park Run (http://www.regentsparkraces.org/). Despite the rain, many supporters came out to cheer us on! And, thanks to the amazing efforts of the runners and the generosity of their friends and families we raised over £5000 for MSF's work in the Democratic Republic of Congo!
Jan-March 2009 - UCL Battle of the Bands 2009 hosted by the UCLU Live Music Society and UCL FoMSF
The Battle of the Bands is now over! Many many thanks to all of you who turned up to show your support. We had 3 excellent heats and 1 superb final, with 'Joker and the Thief' being crowned as the Winner! (http://www.myspace.com/thejokerandthethiefmusic)
We raised almost £700 from the profits of the final, which is on its way to MSF. And hopefully, we got a few more people interested MSF and the crisis in the DRC!
