The name “True Blue” reflects the four major parts of the slate’s campaign platform, which combine to create the acronym “TRUE”.
Everyone on our slate has committed to our $2009 total spending limit for all campaign activities. Running for office should be about who represents YOU the best, not who can spend the most money.

Senate Seat 3 (PFC): Justin Schultz
Senate Seat 4 (EMU): Paige Libadisos

Senate Seat 15 (Social Science): Robert Greene
Senate Seat 16 (Science): Zachary Stark-MacMillan
Senate Seat 17 (Grad/Law): Christina Ergas
Senate Seat 19 (Journalism): Braden Wolf

Our platform consists of these major proposals. For a full description of each idea, please click on the Note titled "True Blue Platform" on this page:
TAKING A STAND
• Advocate for open source textbooks and implement a textbook exchange program that saves students money.
• Take students to Salem three times every term to advocate for Higher Education issues.
• Push for the creation of a universal campus cash system applicable in both UO Housing and the EMU Food Services.
• Create a Congressional Action Center that will provide students with the opportunity to engage in phone calls or letter writing to their Senator or Congressman.
=====
RESPONSIBLE PLANNING
• Renovate the EMU by investing in energy efficient heating systems, while simultaneously bringing revenue generating business to the EMU.
• Institutionalize the UO Bike Loan Program to encourage alternative transportation methods to campus and alleviate the strain on campus parking.
• Expand the HIV/STI testing program available through the UO Health Center.
=====
UNIFYING CAMPUS
• Purchase and replace bulletin boards with digital Campus Media Stations that will reduce paper waste.
• Hold monthly roundtables for student input in rotating satellite campus, which will include the Coos Bay, Portland and Bend campuses.
• Update the ASUO website to include a twitter feed, weekly video updates, and detailed reports of incidental fee spending managed by a new Media Director.
=====
EQUITABLE SERVICES
• Secure permanent funding for a late night LTD shuttle to ensure the safety of students.
• Find a permanent source of funding for 24 hour Knight Library services.
• Improve the electronic ticketing system to provide further opportunities to obtain a student ticket to football, basketball and baseball games.
