Following last year’s amazingly hot Secret Gig debut at the Crawl with Babyshambles,
MySpace once again give Crawl ticket holders the chance to see one of the UK’s hottest
live acts at a secret location within this year’s festival.
We are pleased to announce that ENTER SHIKARI (http://www.myspace.com/entershikari) will perform an exclusive Secret Show this Friday April 18th as organised by MySpace UK.
From today, MySpace users are invited to visit http://www.myspace.com/secretshowsuk where they will be given full instructions on how to earn a sought after place at this free gig involving meeting at a specified checkpoint and being whisked off to a top secret location playing in front of a handful of lucky fans!
CAMDEN CRAWL MOBILE SITE LAUNCHED BY QUE PASA
As the official mobile partner for the event, Que Pasa has created an engaging interactive mobile site providing exclusive content and practical info before, during and after the festival. The site, launched this week, may be accessed by testing CRAWL to 82100. A text alert service keeping gig goers up to date on venue announcements and queue information will be a feature of this service.
H&M PRESENTS……
Just in time for the Crawl, H&M will open its new store on Camden High Street. DIVIDED by H&M is a new concept store and the first in the UK. The Divided collection is influenced by music, art and street culture from around the world. The H&M venue at Bar Vinyl will play host to exclusive performances by Soko, Team Waterpolo and Hadouken! on Friday and Noah & The Whale, Jay Jay Pistolet and One Night Only on Saturday. There will also be signings by chart sensation Sam Sparro and One Night Only between 3:30 & 5:30 pm on Friday.

DAYTIME PROGRAMME
Following its hugely successful launch last year, the Crawl will expand its daytime festival programme to include even more interactive music related fun from 12:00 pm each day of the festival.
Amongst this year’s participants are:
GIGWISE presents... INDIE IDLE ROUNDS 1 & 2: Demo clash featuring 10 shortlisted acts from the online knock out competition for the best unsigned indie band in Britain followed by the live final to win a headline slot at the festival and other great prizes. http://www.gigwise.com/indieidle
BLOODY AWFUL POETRY – After bouncing around London for the past year spreading their obsession with the best new music everywhere, BAD hosts two days of fantastic new music alongside the poetry wall, confession booth, and the world famous BLOODY AWFUL POETRY COMPETITION!
CAMDEN CRAWL UNPLUGGED - Acoustic sessions on the hour every hour from 1pm each day.
Outdoor Stage:
The world famous MOSHI MOSHI POP QUIZ followed by the I PREDICT A POP QUIZ featuring prizes for all plus the Free Beer and hotly contested Free Crisps Rounds.
HUNGAMUNGA - Make stuff, make friends, make a mess. Drawing and painting, knitting and sewing, papier mache and collage, recycled art and anything you need to have fun making stuff... the HungaMunga posse bring their chaotic creativity to Camden, with live music and special guest performances, games and painting contests
MUSICAL BINGO hosted by Bring & Share Think regular bingo but swap numbers for songs; kind of what your Nan would be doing if she was into Dizzee Rascal, CSS, Blondie and Bruce Springsteen. Eyes down, ears open......
LIVE COMEDY – Backstage Comedy are bringing Crawlers the best crop of comedic talent this side of, well, Kentish Town! From the dry and surreal to the simply side splitting, they’ll be laughs to be had for everyone.
RED BULL BEDROOM JAM - Out of the bedroom and on to the stage, Red Bull Bedroom Jam is very proud to be creating the Crawl’s only outdoor venue which will also be open to under 18’s. Playing early live shows are Los Campesinos! and Bombay Bicycle Club, alongside some talented young bands from the Red Bull Bedroom Jam network. RED STRIPE BUSKING SESSIONS - This year’s Red Stripe Camden Crawl is calling all budding musicians to contribute to its incredible line-up by hosting an official busking venue for the first time ever. Slots are available to anyone prepared to entertain a crowd.

Co-ordinated by this year’s headline sponsor, Red Stripe, The Camden Eye will be offering slots from 12pm and 6pm on both Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April, available to anybody prepared to entertain a crowd.
Although the line-up will be organized on a first come first serve basis, Red Stripe will be offering the two opening spots via http://www.redstripe.net/buskingsessions , to make sure the busking goes off with a bang!
With a couple of special guest appearances already planned, the Red Stripe Busking Sessions promise to be an added bonus to what already looks like a stellar event.
H&M- Just in time for the Camden Crawl, H&M is opening its new store on 17th April at 6pm. 213-219 Camden High Street. DJ set by Queens of Noize. The DIVIDED by H&M store is a new concept store and the first in the UK. The DIVIDED collection is influenced by music, art & street culture from around the world. P.S. 25% off for first 200 customers.
H&M will host three live special guests per day at Bar Vinyl.
Signings additionally will take place in the H&M store on Friday.
TURNING WORM- For the past 5 years. TURNING WORM have been making it their mission to promote some of the most strange and beautiful music to be heard in London. Eclecticism is their watchword. From folk to funk, electro to punk anything could happen at Turning Worm stages
FALLOUT RECORDINGS- Back for its third year, the FALLOUT RECORDINGS pre-party gets the weekend off to a debauched and pleasingly grubby start.
Previous years have brought you sets by the likes of The Fratellis and The Rumble Strips, this year the line-up is equally red hot. On Friday, Fuckshovel rub shoulders with Innerpartysystem, whilst Saturday sees Foxcubs rutting with Philly’s finest, Eastern Conference Champions. There will be special guests on both days, including The Postelles on Saturday.
In addition to the musical tomfoolery, Fallout are extremely proud to announce that South London street artists, Sholto and Hugo Brown (Id-iom) will be exhibiting pieces from their latest collection. The brothers are being touted as the new Banksys, so come along and find out why art critics and celebrities alike are getting hot under the collar about their work.

Tickets are to be exchanged for wristbands which allow free entry to each of the participating venues throughout the night as individual capacities permit. Wristbands and CD programmes announcing the full line ups and timings for the event are obtainable from 11:30 am onward each day at the Red Stripe Camden Crawl ticket exchange point located at: ELECTRIC BALLROOM (Back Entrance – 23 Kentish Town Road, NW1). Please note that 2-day pass holders will need to return to ticket exchange to collect Saturday’s timetable.
Festival goers are advised to arrive early as there will be a full daytime programme on both days from 1:00 pm. Doors open for evening schedule at 5:30 pm most venues. There will be late night after show parties featuring live bands and DJs until 4:00 am both days.
