The Student Radio Association is celebrating 40 years of student radio by setting up Project Ruby.
Project Ruby aims to collate the history of Student Radio, to create an interesting and useful archive, which will function as THE central database of information on student broadcasting.
We want student stations to send us the history of their station including key dates, key alumni and what they're up to now, photos through the years, details of equipment used and promotional items from years gone by.
We will be sending out special 'homework' forms to current stations over the Christmas holidays but would welcome contribution from anyone who used to be in student radio or still is.
Upload photos on here - but please make sure they are clearly labelled with Station Name, University and Year. And, if possible, names of those in the pictures as well. We'd love to see any videos you have but again, same rules apply - please label them clearly.
Thanks Guys,
Nikki and Heather
