ABOUT THE DONATION BASED ON 20,000 MEMBERS:
Dear Naandi contributors,
On behalf of Capgemini Norway, we would like to thank you for establishing the Naandi foundation facebook group and thereby letting even more people know about Naandi and the great work that this organization is carrying out.
We hope that this has inspired other companies and their employees around the world.
For every contribution donated to Naandi by employees in Capgemini Norway, the company contributes with the equal amount. This way the program is a joint effort between employees of and the company. We are pleased that we are sponsoring the education of 2600 girls in India all together.
The funding of 20 young, underprivileged girls in Mumbai that has been generated through this initiative on Facebook has now been transferred to Naandi. This will cover one year of education for each of the 20 girls. After this year has been completed, the girls will be included in the overall Capgemini Norway support for Naandi. This means that the girls will be guaranteed education until the end of 10th grade.
