Lewisham Bridge Primary School is a thriving community school in the heart of Lewisham. The decision by English Heritage to award Lewisham Bridge Primary school Grade II listing means that the building is recognised as of national importance. It is a striking building whose design was part of a great tradition to provide “universal education” in a “child-centred learning environment”. For children in an area like Lewisham it’s a marvelous thing to have a functioning primary school in such a building. This group is to show support for parents, teachers and residents who oppose the council's plans to demolish our school. Please join this group and invite as many of your friends as possible to send messages of support.
