This group is for anyone serving in full-time ministry (lay or clergy) who first heard their calling through a United Methodist campus ministry (ie. Wesley Foundation, United Methodist-related college/university, or church-based college ministry). The vision of this group is to bear witness to the strategic mission of campus ministry to call young women and men into faith and into Christian leadership. With the recent focus on raising up new leaders within our denomination, we want to create an awareness of the role of campus ministry in meeting this challenge.

Here's how you can help. If you answered a call to ministry through a United Methodist campus ministry:
1) join the group,
2) post your story below with the following details (name, lay or clergy minister, current position, college/university attended, name of ministry, name of campus pastor), and
3) invite others who came out of campus ministries to add their story.

Our goal is to have 1,000+ members in this group by August 17th when we will call the United Methodist Church to 40 Days of Prayer for our campus ministries in the upcoming school year. A pdf of the 40 Days of Prayer booklet will be available Aug 12th at www.collegeunion.org/prayer (read less)
